Perfect Mousse is the latest innovation in permanent hair colour from Schwarzkopf.

The light and fluffy mousse is as simple to apply as a daily shampoo. It’s easy to use on hard-to-reach places, such as the back of the head and temples – for an even colour result. The weightless, gentle foam won’t drip and covers greys perfectly. Its ammonia free and it smells good too.

After colouring the repair conditioner with soy protein and orchid extract cares for your hair and gives luminous shine.

The foam was simple for me to put through my hair, managing to keep it off my face. It went through evenly and covered superbly. I now have lovely, shiny Hazelnut hair which I love and am intending to keep on using Schwarzkopf Perfect Mousse in future.

Lois  - 21 -   2011-05-07 00:09:20 I tried Perfect Mousse in 4-65 Chocolate Brown. It was easy to apply and didn't smell bad. I think the colour is really nice especially for winter, although I think it would turn out even better on lighter hair (mine is dark brown).

I also enjoyed the fact that you didn't need to hold the tube up to apply, I keep it on the bench and pushed down to get product, then applied with both hands. I would buy it, and recommend to others.

The product I reviewed was Schwarzkopf Perfect Mousse - Product Number 10-0 Pearl Blonde. The product was fun to use with the new foam. Although I was a little hesitant, as I usually use another product, it was easy to use and gave a good even application. It covered my grey (thank goodness) and is a lovely colour with lots of warm tones to it and is lovely and glossy. It is lovely to know it isn't so harsh on my hair as other products can be and has a nice fragrance. I would definitely use this product again and really enjoyed being a part of the trial.

Sarah  - 55 -   2011-05-10 08:14:50 It was very easy to use but I had a problem with the colour, it said dark blonde, but my hair ended up a very dark brown, very dark! Not sure if it reacted with my blonde but never expected it to be so dark. I would consider buying, but would be really careful about the colour. Great condition.

It was really easy to use being a foam, usually when I dye my hair I get it all over my forehead but this didn't happen when using this product. I also really like that it is ammonia free as it wasn't as harsh on my hair as other dyes I have used and the smell wasn't overpowering. Would definitely use this product again :)

I have long hair and covered it very well. I just found the colour darker than on chart. Will use again but will go a shade lighter. Thanks.

Kitty  - 26 -   2011-05-23 01:42:17 I have dark brown/black hair and have not dyed my hair for a long time, so half of my hair was dyed before and half virgin hair. My hair is usually hard to accept colour, especially a lighter colour. But this dye is quite good in terms of colouring my hair. The colour was glossy and made my hair soft. The foam is not very dense and it smells quite pleasant. But the bottle design is not very good. Towards the end of the bottle, the foam cannot be easily pumped out and with the plastic glove being slippery with the hair dye I can't grip the bottle properly and pump the foam out. However, the results were really good. My hair was soft and coverage was great. Just that the pump bottle was a bit hard to use.

Vic  - 20 -   2011-05-23 09:08:29 Have never dyed my hair before...though I am Asian, my hair is more naturally a dark brown colour than jet black. The results are brilliant. I expected hair dye to smell really chemically and gross but this stuff smelt really good like fruity shampoo. I was also surprised by how foamy it was. Application was easy. It's only been in for like 2-ish weeks but so far so good. Couldn't believe dyeing my hair could be so straight forward. Though I guess it may be because I only wanted block colour no high/low lights. Would defintiely recommend it! :)

Angeline  - 19 -   2011-05-24 02:48:42 I thought the mousse application was very easy to use, there was no danger in dripping or any mess at all. However, iI thought the colour was quite one-toned. Unlike some other hair dyes that have slight highlights and low-lights, this came out to be just one shade. Otherwise it did leave my hair soft and shiny.

Rebecca  - 35 -   2011-05-24 05:03:23 I tried the 'Hazelnut' colour. It didn't have a strong ammonia smell, there was HEAPS in the bottle - the result was great mostly because there was so much to go around. I thought it was quite difficult to work out when it would be empty. It was easy to use though and did not drip, like it said it wouldn't. Very good overall.
