DAILY MOISTURISING - Liked it! 3/5. Although, even though it is paraben free - and has that soothing oatmeal, my skin was still a little itchy after using. But I do have VERY sensitive skin and usually only use 100% natural and organic products - which I don't think Aveeno is - just derived from natural ingredients.

ULTRA-CALMING - Loved it! 4/5. Light, smooth and calming. Haven't noticed any difference in the redness of my skin though. Have only been using for a few days though.Also, really like that it is SPF 30- find it hard to find nice moisturisers over SPF 15 that aren't greasy.

More and more studies linking paraben use to a worldwide rise in certain types of cancers are surfacing. Even if these findings aren't yet scientific certainties, Aveeno provides affordable paraben-free cosmetic alternatives for those who wish to err on the side of caution.

The use of natural ingredients known for their soothing and moisturising properties forms the core of Aveeno's brand philosophy. Soy, oatmeal and chamomile derivatives feature in the products, making you feel like you're eating a bowl of porridge as you moisturise.

The Positively Radiant moisturiser is thick and whippy, with the delicious consistency of clotted cream. It's rich and luxurious in the bottle but non-greasy to apply. It's SPF30 but doesn't feel paint like, and didn't leave an oily slick as other sunscreens often do.

The fragrance free Daily Moisturising Lotion is so light it's almost gel like. It's simple, gentle, and ideal for easily irritated or problem skin. It doesn't smell bad, but it doesn't smell particularly good either. It contains the requisite natural oatmeal contribution, but my soft skin was probably more to do with the product's active ingredient dimethicone; a synthetic skin-conditioning agent. Being relatively fragrance free, you'll avoid the sticky, sickly effect that buttery heavily-perfumed creams can have, making it the perfect summer moisturiser.

On the label, the Ultra Calming daily moisturiser is described as light and fast-absorbing' which is misleading. It's heavy and dense, definitely a moisturiser for dryer skins; anyone with even slightly oily skin should give it a wide berth. In saying that, it noticeably calmed my (relatively normal) skin after a huge night out, always a good thing.

I always find it a little hypocritical that products marketed as 'natural' contain so many chemicals; one of the Aveeno moisturisers even contains an E number. As long as you don't mind that improvements to your skin are probably the result of a man made chemical rather than milk/oats/brown rice/chick peas I'd recommend Aveeno. Overall, the products looked, smelt and felt like they were good quality; they all made my skin feel velvety and soft, and I'll definitely be using them again.

I was very excited to receive my fantastic sample box of the two Aveeno moisturisers and enjoyed reading through the information on the products. Clearly these are products that are high quality and have had a lot of thought and research go into the formulation.

The first product I tried was the Daily moisturising lotion which I applied to my hands, body and face (although it is not supposed to be a face cream! Whoops!)

I realised quickly that it is not a face cream when I felt my sensitive skin get a bit stingy and my eyes started watering.

On my hands - I found it to be fantastic. The cream was absorbed really quickly and didn't leave a greasy residue.

The next day I tried the Ultra Calming Daily moisturiser and was delighted to see that it has an SPF of 30. I was interested to see how it would preform under makeup and was very impressed. The cream also absorbed quickly and left what felt like a fine veil over the skin. My foundation glided on really well and didn't go patchy as I have found with other moisturisers.

I like the fact that these products have high quality ingredients and don't have any synthetic fragrances in them.

Overall I was very impressed with both products and would certainly continue to use them!

I was excited to test out these Aveeno products because of their natural properties I had heard of.
The Daily moisturizer I would rate 8/10. I found that it absorbed into my skin quickly and felt light on my skin.
The moisturizer for sensitive skin I rate 7/10. I found it a bit heavy on my face but since it is 30 spf, it's not too bad.
All together I really liked these products and found them to be a natural skin care range that still offers the positive effects of other skin care products.

Daily moisturising lotion

Upon application, the Aveeno moisturising lotion absorbed quickly with a slight residue after effect. The texture reminded me of liquid Vaseline. After using the lotion for a few days I noticed that my visible dry skin wasn't so visible. I like the fact that my elbows were soft (particularly tough area for me); no other product has done that before! Especially, liked that the lotion was fragrance free and I could apply it in the morning without the lotion interfering with my fragrance. Bottle was functional- pump top that can be closed, preventing spill if dropped. Overall, I would buy this product. Rating: 3.5/5

Ultra-calming daily moisturizer

I really enjoyed this moisturizer. Only need a pump or two of this product to cover the whole face. Absorbs quickly and does not have that greasy feeling that many high SPF face products have. Skin felt silky and I could wear this moisturizer under my make up. At the end of the day, skin felt soft. I tend to be sensitive to many face products but this did not irritate at all. Even reduced some of the redness/dry skin I have. I especially, liked the high SPF 30 factor and the UVA/UVB coverage for the face. Good bottle design, pump can be closed. Overall, I would buy this product 4/5.

I've been using Aveeno for a little over a week and I can honestly say it's the best moisturiser I've ever used!
The daily moisturising lotion is great as it's not oily and doesn't have that obnoxious smell that so many moisturisers have.
The daily moisturiser sunscreen was also fantastic and was very effective as a sunscreen let alone as a moisturiser.
Overall a great product!

I found that after using Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion for one day my skin felt softer and more supple. Its non greasy when you put it on and dries fast which I found was nice because it didn't make my clothes stick to me after putting it on. The lotion has proven to be a hit amongst my friends and family because they couldn't wait to get some from me.
When it came to using the Ultra Calming cream I was hesitant at first as I have very sensitive skin and my face usually breaks out, however I found that the Aveeno ultra calming cream didn't make my skin oily and break out and it is starting to even out my skin tone. Plus it has SPF30 which is a must, even in winter.

I have been using the moisturizer for 1 week now and I am loving it. It leaves my face soft, not oily and reduced the redness in my cheeks. I especially love the matte effect it has on my skin, a perfect base for makeup.

The Daily Moisturising Lotion is great also, moisturises very well. I also noticed that it doesn't sting when it goes on scratches which is great. I would definitely buy these products.

After using Aveeno products for the past 2 weeks I have noticed that my skin has improved around my eyes as it looks much more radiant than before. The bags under my eyes lessened with the Daily moisturizer and it was great to see an all natural product work like it says it will. The skin tone was better and there was an obvious smoothness on my face. I recommend the daily moisturizer to everyone as it is can part of a daily cleansing routine without being too heavy or oily. It is fragrance free for those who have sensitive skin as well. The Ultra Calming lotion was not as effective on my skin I feel because I do not really have redness or irritable skin but enhanced the effects of the products used along with it. I am very happy to have reviewed this product as the results were so noticeable and I now have a suitable, all-natural product to trust it to look after my skin everyday.I definitely will be making Aveeno products part of my skin care range!

I don't have particularly sensitive skin (so testing the redness would be difficult) but I do have oily skin on my face and dry skin especially on my legs (curse shaving!), plus I am 32 weeks pregnant so I was interested to see how the creams would cope with all this...

Aveeno Ultra Calming: 9/10 So impressed with this cream. It went on like a SPF30 sunblock which from a protection viewpoint I was excited about as other moisturizers/suncream seems too light and never quite give the level of protection I want. Speaking as someone whose face can turn into an oil slick with no encouragement I was very nervous though, as use of SPF30 cream has always ended with my face oily.

WOW! After the cream had absorbed in no time at all my face was left with almost a powdery feeling to it - even after applying makeup my face was left feeling silky smooth and oil free - all day! Even my hubby noticed how soft my skin felt. This is definitely going on my shopping list!

For all pregnant women worried about the inclusion of Feverfew in this product, Johnson and Johnson have assured me that topical use is safe for us!!!! Good to Know!

Aveeno Active Daily Moisturising Lotion: 8/10

I liked the fact that this moisturiser is fragrance free, not just from a natural point of view but who needs too many fragrances competing on one body! I hate greasy hands so I was impressed by the texture of this cream and how smoothly and cleanly it applied. In general though I thought that it felt no better or worse than most body moisturisers - that is until the end of the day when I got undressed to find that my skin felt like I had just moisturised. My skin felt great, soft and not greasy at all.

So far Aveeno ticks a lot of boxes!

The last for me was price (who isn't on a budget these days) so off to the supermarket I went and they are not the cheapest (possibly a good thing)! But not necessarily the dearest. With the Ultra Calming at $20.99 and the Daily Moisturiser at $14.99 I will be watching to see how long my sample bottles last me but I think they are definitely worth every cent especially the Ultra Calming Moisturisers for the level of protection you are getting.

I had heard many good things about the Aveeno range from both family and my dermatologist. Although I guess it is no coincidence given that my dermatologist is Dr Peter Gould, the man who fronted the first advertising campaigns.
I am pleased to say that I was very happy with the results of the body moisturizer! Given that I spent a total of 7 years on and off Isotane my skin is a little sensitive to new products and often reacts adversely to anything I try. This was not the case with the Aveeno body lotion. I had used it morning and night since receiving it with great results! My skin has felt great. In particular the Rosacea on my arms has not flared up from its use.
Although I am a fan of the delicious smells of products such as Body Shop body butter, I found it great to have a product with almost no smell! This gave me the ability to use my favourite perfumes without the cross-over of different smells.

My use of the facial product was limited as I break out very easily and my current skin care regime is keeping my acne at bay. I did use it for a few days and was pleased that my face did not break out! Something that often happens when I try new products.

Overall I was very pleased with both Aveeno products and the comments from friends and medical professionals lived up to the hype. I will continue to to use the body cream on a daily basis :)

The face moisturiser was great for my dry winter skin, and the dispenser didn't give you too much. Great to have the added bonus of SPF protection as well.

The body moisturiser was thick and creamy and really moisturised my skin, without being watery or greasy like so many others.

ULTRA CALMING DAILY MOISTURIZER SPF 30-like the high SPF of 30. Have had moisturizers of a lower SPF that were much whiter and thicker in consistency,went on easily with out a thick white residue left on skin surface.
DAILY MOISTURIZING LOTION- Very much liked that it was fragrance free so that it didn't interfere with any other perfume that I was wearing,nice consistency,not too thick and disappeared into my skin easily.

Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion: fabulous, fragrance free, absorbs easily and skin feels lovely. other moisturisers make my legs itch, but not this one!

Ultra Calming Moisturiser: absorbs easily and leaves my face nice and soft and ready for makeup. It's great to have SPF built in. No fragrance, and handy lockable pump which delivers just the right amount.

I love both products and would definitely buy them again; they're much better than all other supermarket brands I've tried.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing body lotion - nice to apply, non-greasy, felt satiny smooth and had long-lasting moisturizing effect - legs stayed moisturized all day.

Aveeno Ultra-calming daily moisturizer - liked the pump bottle which dispensed just the right amount of moisturizer; didn't flow onto the skin quite as well as I would like, but moisturized well without making face appear greasy and shiny.

I received the products on Saturday and I've been using them for four days.
First of all, my skin is quite dry and prone to eczema and itchiness. My hands are prone to a lot of dryness. My face has combination skin, prone to oiliness and blackheads on my nose and chin, but dry on my forehead.

Daily Moisturizing Lotion - 5/5

I really enjoyed using this product. The texture is really nice - creamy and moisturising. I love the fact that it is unscented. Sometimes perfumed products can be quite irritating and unpleasant. The lotion was absorbed really quickly and didn't leave my skin feeling greasy at all which I loved. I used it once a day after showering and found that it is especially nice to use on the legs after shaving. The product left my skin feeling soft and supple for a good 24 hours as it claimed. The packaging is nice and the colours are quite 'natural' looking. The bottle pump can be closed which is handy too. I will definitely be repurchasing.

Ultra Calming - 4/5

I liked this product, but I feel that the smell has let it down. The packaging claims that it is fragrance free (which I assume means that they haven't added any perfumes to it), however, it does smell sort of like plastic and sunblock. That being said, the smell didn't last long, and I didn't notice the smell on my skin after applying it. I love that it is SPF30, since I have very fair skin and think that it's really really important to always wear some sort of SPF on my face. I don't think I have any problems in redness, however there was a noticeable change in my skin tone - it was more even and not at all patchy. It left my skin feeling soft and smooth for a good 34 hours also. The moisturiser was quickly absorbed into my skin, although I could still feel it on my face but not in an unpleasant way. It didn't leave my nose looking oily or greasy, which has been an issue for me with facial moisturisers that I have used in the past. The packaging is nice, and the pump can be twisted to the side to close it, so it won't make a mess in your handbag or waste any product. Overall, I like this product, and I would be happy to buy it in the future, but the smell may be off-putting for some people.

I am realy pleased with the the Aveeno Daily moisturiser with SPF30 - I find it very good because I can apply it under my makeup, and my makeup doesn't smudge or shift throughout the day. I am pretty pleased with the Aveeno stress relief moisturizing lotion, and I really like the scent, but I wish the consistency was a bit more creamy. Besides that, I really love both products!

Wow, what fantastic products. I have extremely sensitve eyes and can't wear alot of facial moisturisers but the Aveeno Ultra Calming was just fantastic.

I also loved the Aveeno Daily Moisturiser, I love that it is quite thick and heavy as I feel I don't get moisturised well from any products which are very thin and light feeling. My knees which are usually extremely dry now match the rest of my body.

I am very happy with both of these products and would definetely continue to use them.

Feverfew should not be taken orally during pregnancy. We have conducted safety testing on the Aveeno range but have not specifically tested in pregnant women. It is always best to check with your healthcare professional before using ANY product regardless of whether it is a medicine or cosmetic or whether it is used internally or externally.

I've tried the Sunblock, it's great. I have oily skin and after seconds it is absorbed by the skin and feels like silk.
I haven't tried the Tinted moisturiser...
