Lou  - 30 -   2011-03-29 05:09:45 One day disposable lenses are a fantastic invention! I adore not having to wash lenses at the end of a long day - just chuck them down the drain! It's also great being able to keep spares on you - perfect for occasions like holidays when you will be away from the optometrist and are worried about losing lenses. 1•DAY ACUVUE® MOIST® are basically just as easy to use as any soft contact lenses. The blue tint is good for helping you see each lens better. They still felt good after 8+ hours of wear... I couldn't really tell much difference between the 1•DAY ACUVUE® MOIST® lenses trialled here, and my usual ones (which are 1•DAY ACUVUE® TruEye), but both types of lens are very similar, so not much surprise there. Certainly if my regular lenses were not available I'd look at these as a good alternative.

Kitty  - 26 -   2011-03-29 07:57:16 I have been wearing contact lenses for a long time. I wear them more than 8 hours a day most of the time, which I know is bad for my eyes. I usually wear the fortnightly lenses which gets harder and easier to dry out when it is towards the end of the day. 1•DAY ACUVUE® MOIST® is really really good. It is really soft and moist and it doesn't feel dry at all when wearing them for 10 hours! I feel like I am wearing nothing at all.

Veema  - 26 -   2011-03-30 00:28:50 I really liked the Acuve Alpha Influencer lenses. As a long term contact/ glasses wearer, I found that they were comfortable and stayed moist for the whole day. I work in an air-conditioned environment and often find that other brands of contact lenses tend to dry out rather quickly. I liked that you didn't need to fuss with cleaning solutions. Great for when you are traveling. Found the UV protection element to the lenses interesting. Nice to know, that my eyes are going to be protected without sunglasses. I definitely will be using this product from now on.

In the morning rush I just peeled the covering, and in 10 seconds the lenses go right in!! There was no need to rinse each lens, because they are already clean and ready for use right away :) In the evening, it was super easy to dispose of them and no need to wash them again! I am going to the optometrists tomorrow to get a year's supply!!

Julia  - 29 -   2011-04-06 04:51:06 They were really good once in. But if you are anything like me, it may pay to be 100% sure that you will be able to put them in your eyes to begin with. Not only could you not feel them, but I kept getting asked why I wasn't wearing my glasses. I didn't realise how much I was missing out on by wearing glasses. I no longer have that annoying tunnel vision. Hugging my children and husband was so much easier. Was awesome to be able to cook a dinner in the oven and open the door and not have to take my glasses off to unsteam them. I give this product a big thumbs up.

Vic  - 20 -   2011-05-10 07:57:49 I have to admit I don't have a good history with contacts. Mostly getting them in/out is a nightmare because I have small eyes :( ....and by the end of the day my eyes feel dry and tired. These lens seemed a little bit bigger than what I usually use so getting them in was still a chore. They were also thinner which meant they seemed more prone to flipping inside out as I tried to put them in. Usually when I wear contacts I carry my eye drops and glasses around in case my eyes get too tired and I have to take the contacts out. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't need the eyedrops or the glasses whilst wearing Acuvue! After about 8 hours I still felt completely fine and my eyes weren't that tell-tale red they sometimes get. All in all the contacts were pretty comfortable and depending on the price I might buy them again. Especially love the added bonus of having UV protection! :)
