I've used fake tans for many years and know that some are REALLY bad and some totally rock!! My 2 biggest 'things' with fake tans are...the smell (nothing worse than the obvious smell of fake tan lol) and secondly, an even colour....Any views on what are the best store bought brands???

I know what you mean....the smell is a definite giveaway!! I love Napolean Tanning Mousse...I find it really easy to apply and it is hard to get striks!!! And is a great natural colour too!!!!

sugar baby gradual tanner!!
its great!, spray on so less mess, its moisturising, has a yummy smell and this fab gold shimmer which means even if you do manage to put it on like a drunken monkey the shimmer deflects the light...and any flaws!!
I also go over it with the sugar baby bronze radiance glow cream on special occasions when i need the 'i just spent a month in fiji' look

I have heard Suga Baby is good as well. I have not tried it but a friend swears by it and it is cheap.

I use holiday skin but it does have a smell but nothing major.

Have you tried Trilogy's bronzer as an alternative to a fake tan? It’s a fantastic product that I have just started using and is available from Health 2000 www.health2000.co.nz
