Brushed-out curls are the ultimate in 'I-woke-up-looking-this-good' hair

 

The European Autumn/Winter 09 shows saw this trend in full effect, in particular at Chanel:



The best thing about this super cute trend is that it’s so easy to re-create:

1.    Starting by applying a volume boosting or curl holding mousse.
2.    Divide your hair into sections and spray the first section with hairspray.
3.    Using either rollers or a ceramic iron - like a Freestyler or GHD and start the curls halfway down the length, not forgetting the hairspray before each section. Note: We find that curling tongs don't get hot enough to hold the curl.
4.    Once your entire head is alive with luscious curls loosen them by running your fingers through each curl.
5.    Tip your head upside down and brush the curls using a paddle brush in all directions.
6.    Flip your head back up and finish with a light spritz of gloss spray.
