Anna-Lise Sharma works for fashion showroom and PR agency, Showroom 22, which represents fashion brands from Kathryn Wilson, Juliette Hogan and Glassons to beauty giant ghd. We love Anna-Lise’s effortless style and beauty look, so we couldn’t resist rummaging around in her makeup bag to find out a few of her beauty secrets.
If we were to tip out the contents of your makeup bag what would we find?
A mini mirror, RUBY Minty nail polish, mascara, eye-liner & spare contacts, I’m completely blind!
What are the beauty products you always carry in your handbag?
MAC mineralize highlighter, Lucas Papaw Cream and a bright lippy to take you from day to night.
What is your fail-safe makeup look?
Super natural! It takes little to no maintenance throughout the day and doesn’t look OTT.
What is your all-time favourite beauty product?
I am a big mascara girl- I love long, ridiculous lashes. Lancome L’extreme is the best!
Lipstick or lipgloss?
If you asked me 5 years ago I was definitely a gloss girl, but now I can't live without a bright coloured lipstick. My all time favourites are MAC Morange, Lady Danger & Paramount.
Tell me about your skincare routine?
I have just started using the Osmosis skincare range. It is AMAZING! I use their cleanser morning and night followed by the Osmosis intense hydrator moisturiser.
Do you have any secret beauty tips you can share?
I’m not sure about secret, but always make sure you take off your make-up at night and please, please steer clear of fake-tan.
What has been your biggest beauty blunder?
Bright blue hair mascara when I was in love with The Spice Girls, crimped hair and wearing too much black eyeliner at the age of thirteen- two black eyes is not a good look.
What are your five biggest beauty indulgences?
I’m a sucker for any MAC limited edition collection as well as Jo Malone fragrances, Kevin Murphy Motion Lotion, Lancome make-up remover and a massage every so often!
