ROCK YOUR BROWS
You always want what you don’t have,  girls with sleek straight hair wanting tumbling curls and vice versa, and now brow envy has become the new wave. Do you spot that girls brows from the distance and think 'I want those’?  Well never fret because when it comes to brows it is all about the right brow FOR YOU.  The role of your brows is to frame and complement your face, features and style, so don’t fight them, make them work people!

Here are Courtney from OFF WAX/BROW BAR’s tips to finding the best shape for you.

GET THE BASICS RIGHT - LENGTH, SHAPE AND ARCH
Regardless of your features and face shape there are some basics to making sure your brows are the right balance for YOUR face.  Using these simple guidelines means that you have the foundations for then expressing your style through your brows, knowing that you have the basic proportions right.
1.Brow start: line a pencil straight up from the side of your nose to your eyebrows and you can see the point your brows should begin.
2.Arch: use your pencil again and line it up from the outer corner of your nose through the middle of your eye’s iris.  The point where it hits the brow should be the perfect spot for your arch.
3.Brow end: should be in a direct line from the outer corner of your nostril to the outer corner of your eye.

FEATURES AND YOUR BROWS
Like your hair your brows can be an expression of your personal style and should work in harmony.  If you have full on, big hair, then skinny delicate brows wont work.  Think of the eighties... big hair, big brows!  As styles change so do brows.

Fine/Delicate Features
Fine features is no excuse for anorexic brows. You can still rock a strong brow and it adds the balance and dimension to your face so don’t be tempted to overpluck, and experiment with brow powder to create more depth.  You still want to have them tamed and under control so use a lick of brow gel to keep the in line.  Just be careful to not have too high of an arch, especially when on the thinner side as this can look severe and ageing.

Stronger Features
If you have stronger features like gorgeous Camilla or Kim, work it!  Make sure you continue to think in angles, not arches so it complements.  Create contrast with your brows using the right products to define and further the strength of them.

For angular features and strong jawlines, soften and balance using a less arched brow – like Jennifer Connolly who works the low flat brow.  You can roughen up the bulk of the brow to embrace the trend that we call ‘fully fierce’!
