A typical week for most high school girls includes english class, netball practice, and maybe they odd date at the movies. But for up-and-comer Lindsey Wixson, her days are filled with casting calls, fittings, and walking some of the biggest shows around the world.

She was discovered when … Her childhood dream came true. At the tender age of 12 Lindsey told her parents she wanted to be a model and started going to as many castings as possible. She signed with Vision Models in early 2009 and they posted polaroids and a video of her on models.com, from which she was hand-selected by famed photographer Steven Meisel for an Italian Vogue shoot.

You might also have seen her… After shooting with Meisel the buzz spread. Lindsay landed an exclusive at Prada and Miu Miu for the S/S 10 shows and is now currently the face of Miu Miu.
