Carrots

Carrots are full of vitamin A — which is essential for growth and repair of skin tissues. Your skin keeps forming new cells (so the old ones can be replaced) and repairs problems in existing tissue. Just avoid eating too many unless you want to turn orange.

Honey

Honey purifies blood and cleanses the body of toxins and a lack of toxins means less rubbish hanging out under your skin which so it's clearer on the surface.

Eggs

If you suffer from acne try eating more eggs as they are full of zinc and zinc is known to help reduce acne.

Spinach

If it’s good enough for Popeye it’s good enough for us. Spinach is full of iron and iron makes sure your skin gets enough oxygen, which prevents it from looking dull and lifeless.

Dark chocolate:

Dark chocolate is full of antioxidants and has skin softening and wrinkle smoothing properties. So make sure you look for chocolate containing at least 50 percent cacao and aim for 112 grams daily to reap its full benefits.

Red wine:

The key to reaping the health benefits of red wine is moderate consumption. Drinking one glass a day for women and up to two glasses a day for men may decrease the risk of heart disease, cancer and stroke.
