For more than a decade Richard Kavanagh has been at the forefront of the New Zealand hairdressing industry...

As an internationally respected stylist, he leads national and international seminars and creates looks for top national and international fashion magazines, fashion designers, advertising clients, Grammy nominated music videos and international television commercials.

His hairdressing awards include the NZ hairdressing Association Creative Head of Merit Award two years running, runner-up in the 1998 L’Oreal Colour Trophy, finalist for the same award in 1999, and finalist for the Schwarzkopf New Zealand Hairdresser of the Year 1998.
