Ladies, meet the colour that looks good on everyone...For lips

This is truly for the brave and I warn you to proceed with caution! You need to be sure to get the right shade for your skin tone otherwise you risk looking like you just stepped out of a freezer. There are two options here - either go for a light, matte, candy lilac, or a deep dark shimmering plum - hello statement lips!
If you head down to your nearest M.A.C counter the lovely team of makeup artists will show you exactly what colour you need. Alternatively if you’re not so keen for the full on purple you can try using a gloss that just has a hint of colour for a more subtle look. My favourites are the M.A.C lipsticks in Violetta and Cyber.

For eyes

Purple is much easier to master on the eyes as you have an array of looks to play with depending on your mood.
From eyeliners to shadows and even mascaras, it’s easy to get your pop of colour. Why not try all three together? The purple smoky eye is defiantly a favourite and so easy to do - not to mention how it kicks blue and green eyes up a notch or two.
Check out Chanel Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Violine and NARS eyeshadow in Jole Poupee.

For nails
If shading your lids or painting your pout purple ain't your thing, an easy way to get your purple colour injection is with nail polish. Think rich, shimmering jewel toned purples or light lavanders and mauves (light purple nails are THE nail trend for winter)
The short dark manicure is also big this winter so this way you can easily tackle two beauty trends in one and go for a deep blackberry colour - an incredibly chic look that will work well with this seasons rock-chick stylings.
Shop it: O.P.I has an amazing selection of purple shades but my fav is Savita by Zoya from their MatteVelvet collection.
