It’s important to keep skin hydrated, especially during the harsh winter months.  Beauty Bible takes a look at some of the best products for dry, dehydrated skin.

Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster RRP $131.50

This wonder product revitalises parched skin and restores the barrier layer to retain critical moisture levels.   It provides hydration where your skin really needs it and restores suppleness of skin and minimises the appearance of fine lines.  A little goes a long way - apply a few drops to your face before your moisturiser and it will help nurse your skin back to supple health.

QV Face Nurturing Night Cream RRP $23.67
This nourishing cream not only hydrates and revitalises skin as you sleep, but it also reduces skin sensitivity.  It contains Safflower oil to hydrate your skin, replacing vital moisture lost during the day, and provides a protective barrier to help reduce moisture loss during the night.  Vitamin B3 Complex improves skin elasticity and minimises the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.   Plus, the dermatologically tested, pH-balanced, low-irritant formulation is free from fragrance, colour, lanolin and propylene glycol, making it ideal for dry skin and even the most sensitive of skins.

Nivea Visage Daily Essentials Rich Moisturising Day Cream SPF15 RRP $12.99
Formulated specifically for dry and sensitive skin, this rich cream formula contains skin softening Natural Almond Oil and soothing Calendula Extract and provides 24-hour intensive moisturisation. SPF 15 and UVA filters provide protection from environmental influences and premature ageing.

L’Oréal Paris Triple Active Day RRP$13.49
Triple Active Day is a multi-protection moisturiser that hydrates, protects and illuminates skin.  The light, non-greasy texture instantly absorbs into skin leaving dry skin comfortable, supple and perfectly hydrated.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream RRP$66.00
This light-texture cream provides 24-hour hydration with continuous water replenishment throughout the day, leaving skin visibly well-balanced, helping to reduce moisture loss while drawing and absorbing moisture from the air.  Did you know - Kiehl’s was a proud sponsor of the “Greenland First Ascent” expedition, and this product kept the climbers’ skin hydrated throughout the harsh weather conditions – making it the perfect product to revive dry and hydrated skin.

Innoxa Thirsty Skin range
Thirsty Skin is specifically formulated to offer skin an intense and immediate boost of hydration for dry skin and signs of ageing for beautifully soft, smooth looking skin.

Another good hydrator is the Clinique extra thirsty skin relief. It is really light and hydrates really well. I have oily/combination skin, and it doesn't clog pores
