One of the most common complaints we busy ladies make is that we don’t have time to put makeup on or style our hair…
Never fear, with these multi-tasking products, you can be a hottie in a hurry and never need to go bare-faced and straggle haired again.
Start with a base
Moisturiser, primer, sunscreen, foundation… A daily regime can get complicated and sure adds time to your already busy schedule. Streamline everything right down, so you protect your skin while you get some coverage and things get a whole lot easier!

For sheer coverage, we love: Olay Total Effects, Touch of Foundation, SPF15.
Moisturiser, sun protection and just a hint of colour, this works with all skin tones to even your complexion and give you a glow.

For higher SPF, we love: Hissy Fit Saving Face SPF30+ Foundation
Saving Face is a foundation that provides flawless foundation coverage with SPF 30+, a broad spectrum protection from the sun's damaging UVA/UVB rays. Available in nine luminous shades with one for every skin tone.
Invest in multi-tasking products
Napoleon Light Patrol Luminizer Palette contains five shades in the one, handbag-handy compact and can be used as an eyeshadow, blush, highlighter, or an all over luminizer. Each of the face-flattering shades contains Aloe Vera, Vitamins A and E and SPF 8 - you really get bang for your buck with this product! Hot tip: Apply one or a mixture of all the colours to your lips and coat with clear gloss, or use a large brush to apply the product to your décolletage area for a nighttime glow. RRP $75.00
CoverGirl Outlast Lip Stain RRP: $18.99 comes in a felt tip like applicator which is kinda like colouring in to apply (fun) and when we say ‘felt tip’ we mean ‘felt tip’. And when CoverGirl say stain, they mean business. It really does leave a stain on your lips and is perfect for those who want colour with no texture – or who have a hot date and don’t want lippy getting in the way.
Maybelline Define-A-Lash RRP: $24.50 is a deliciously buildable mascara that can take one quick flick for day time, or bump it up to 3 coats baby for extra kapow for an evening look. Hot Tip: Close one eye and paint the top of your upper lashes, then open the eye, place the wand at the base of the lashes and wiggle gently through to the tips to get inky colour on all the lashes.
Consider Permanent Makeup
If you are a complete goober when it comes to applying eyeliner or colouring in your brows, or you just want an extra 10 minutes in the morning, permanent makeup may be the answer. It might sound drastic, but the results can be as subtle and natural as you like. Beauty Bible Ed Je t’aime had her eyebrows done and nobody even noticed! It's painless (numbing cream is used) and saves heaps of time in the morning faffing around with pencils. And don’t worry – while it’s called ‘permanent makeup’ it’s actually not forever, it's semi-permanent, so it does fade and therefore touch ups will be required. Choose your artist carefully though, as mistakes don’t come off in the shower. We recommend the delightful Alex Proctor of The Permanent Makeup Studio for the best results in town - and with a long list of A-List devotees - it's clear she's the best in the business.

Get A Handle On: Hurried hair styling
If you’re in a hurry Sebastian Potion 9 RRP: $24 - 50ml is the answer to your hair prayers. It helps you achieve the style you want, while conditioning and smoothing hair at the same time with 9 ingredients to help repair hair damage. Hot Tip: If you don’t have time to style your hair, simply do a quick blowdry to the front and underneath, smooth over an untidy fringe with a quick swipe of straightening irons, then clip the rest back. We like a messy bun with bobby pins, a smooth, ballerina bun placed high on the head using a hair elastic or a chic pony tail. A headband can also be just what you need to keep your look tidy, yet minimalist. If your hair dryer spits out not much more than a puff of warm air, it's time to bring in the big guns.
The Remington AC Professional Ionic Hair Dryer has 2000 watts or power (yet it's quiet) and ionic hydrating technology to smooth your hair. It also boasts 6 switch combinations - 3 heat and 2 speed, a cool shot, ioniser with indication light, slimline concentrator, diffuser, paddle brush, removable filter and 3 year warranty. RRP: $85
