Don't be scared of taking the plunge - the bob is hot this winter...

Not only are bobs uber-trendy right now, it is so incredibly easy to keep your hair in fabulous condition when it's shorter.

Up until last week I had long locks that were constantly in one big, dry, matted mess. I kept telling myself I was going for that ‘bed hair’ look.  Now I’m sporting a barely touching my shoulders, super healthy, shiny bob which has instantly made me feel glamorous and sophisticated. 

With so many styles to choose from, the ever evolving bob is perfect for busy women and you can create  many different looks providing you have a versatile shape -  there is a style out there to suit everyone.

Anne Hathaway:

If you want to keep your bob soft and feminine, opt for longer layers as this will enhance texture. Longer bobs have great versatility as they look fantastic poker straight, curled, or mussed up and texturised.

Katie Holmes:

Timeless and elegant. This is a great style for those wanting to elongate their face - remember to keep it shorter at the back and slightly longer at the front. Great for showing off the jaw line too.

Nicole Ritchie:

The long sweeping side fringe is the perfect addition to any bob as it is kind on the face and helps creates shape without being harsh.

Rhianna:

Short, sharp and sleek. This is for a girl with attitude.  The blunt fringe is dramatic and screams look at me! Oh-so-hot if you dare. For those who like this look, but can't go all the way, a blunt fringe looks fabulous with a longer bob too. Keep the hair nice and straight for ultimate impact.
