Before you flaunt some skin on the beach this summer, Beauty Bible has a few helpful tips and share the best 'Get gorgeous for Summer products' to ensure you are feeling and looking fabulous when you hit the beach...

Fake It, Don’t Bake It

It’s All In The Eyes

Keep It Simple
Nothing looks worse than a face covered in makeup down at the beach; it’s all about keeping it simple. Think light glowing tinted moisturiser – with a high SPF of course, subtle highlighting, uber glossy lips and plenty of bronzer. Don’t forget sun protection for your lips too. Lips contain no natural sun protection (melanin) so are very vulnerable to sun damage. Scrub-a-dub-dub
Keep your skin healthy, glowing and blemish free by exfoliating regularly to get rid of dry, dead skin. Don’t forget your feet – hard skin and calluses are not a pretty sight when you’re living in flip flops. We HEART: BC Honey & Sugar Scrub and Oasis Fruit & Nut Body Polish (RRP: $32.40)

Water for the People
Rising temperatures result in a loss of moisture in your body when you sweat, so make sure you stay hydrated by drinking lots of water. Keep a bottle of water in your handbag so that there’s always some on hand when you’re relaxing on the beach. Remember, hydration is a key factor in radiant skin. Do you bit to keep our beaches beautiful as well and invest in a resuable water bottle rather than contributing to endless piles of plastic.

We are going to hark on about sun protection once more. This is serious ladies. Wherever there is light, there is UV radiation. And where there is UV radiation, there is the potential for harm to the skin. 95% of all skin cancers are found on light-exposed areas such as the face, top of the ears, neck and chest.

Tone The Thighs
We can't think of one lady we know who isn't at least slightly self-conscious of their thighs. This sad news reiterates it's time for some body love because life isn't photoshopped! But if your thighs are bothering you there is help.
Firstly, you gotta do some work to tone the muscles - start each day with a few squats and lunges - these basic moves are great for toning and strenghtening. Try 20 plies, 20 squats and 20 lunges per leg and do this every second day. You'll soon feel tighter and more toned. As you get stronger, move up to holding weights. If you like to walk and want to get fit and lose cellulite the shoes you wear are important.
