Tomatoes are not just excellent salad ingredients - they are great for your skin too - try to include some in your diet everyday, and even apply them directly to your face.
Tomatoes contain Lycopene, which is great for fighting free radicals and repairing your skin - and they also have Vitamin C which is great for brightening your skin.
Tomatoes are most rich in Lycopene when they are cooked, so chop two medium tomatoes up, pop them in the pan and cook them until they are soft. If the mixture needs a little more moisture you can add some water or green tea.
When the cooked tomato is cooled, apply to your face and relax for 20 minutes before removing and applying a nourishing moisturiser.
