How did Mobile Spray Tans NZ come about?
Typical story about 2 girls addicted to spray tans! Our regular tanner was becoming increasing busy and we found going to a salon become too difficult. So we bought our own spray tan gear, practiced on friends and family, started a Facebook page and the next thing we knew we were running our own business.

What does your job involve?
Our job is a fun one really! We get to meet lots of lovely ladies (and men), give them a spray tan and make them feel fantastic about themselves. Its simple but it works.

What are your thoughts on sunbeds and tanning in the sun?
Ekkk Sunbeds - that pretty much sums it up. The science and the statistics speak for themselves really. I am not against getting a tan in the sun, but all in moderation. Wear sun block and save your body – you only get one!

What’s your earliest makeup memory?
Both us come from a performance background so the bright red lips, intense red blusher were slapped on us both from the age of 5 – guess our obsession with makeup steams from this.

What are your top five indulgences?
Chocolate, Wine, Shopping, Pizza and more shopping. 

Who is your beauty icon?
Natalie Portman, she is a natural beauty and manages to look effortlessly good all the time. Plus the fact that she is intelligent and extremely talented enhances her appeal.

What are your must have beauty products?
We love MAC! Mineralise Skin Finish & Fluidline eyeliner – the easiest eyeliner to apply.

Biggest hair, makeup or tanning disaster you’ve had?
I was going to my 6th form ball, straightening my hair with my GHDs and burning my forehead – not the best look for the “moment I waited for all my life” Dramatic much?!

What is your top tanning tip?
Always exfoliate prior to a tan and always moisturise to maintain your tan. Oh and get a tan through Mobile Spray Tans (shameless self promo haha)!

What defines beauty to you?
As cliché as it sounds, beauty is far more than how you look…beauty is confidence and loving yourself -  when you have this, you could never  be more attractive.
