Hot on the heels of the success of the popular Katy Perry Black Shatter, and the Silver ‘Pirates of the Carribbean’ Silver Shatter, OPI has announced the addition of five new shades to their Shatter collection.

Navy, Blue, Turquoise, Red and White have been added to the mix, meaning you can have lots of fun creating endless colour combinations and nail art effects.  Just apply a shatter to any dry OPI nail colour to achieve a crackled, two-texture finish.  Or add a top coat to take Shatter from matte to glossy in seconds.

“Black Shatter was received with great fanfare, showing that women are looking for new ways to express themselves and are excited to try different textures on their nails,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “By adding a variety of colours to the line, there are more options for every woman, whether she is looking for a funky aquamarine or elegant deep blue. Unlike traditional nail art which can be complicated and difficult to replicate, Shatter is easy to use and allows everyone to experiment with this new trend.”

The Shatter collection will be available end of June 2011, RRP $24.90 each

Available at Professional Salons, Life Pharmacies, Kirkcaldie & Stains Nail Spa, Smith & Caughey’s, Ballantynes and Arthur Barnette.Contact 0800 144 562 or visit www.globalbeauty.co.nz to find your nearest stockist.  Or follow OPI on Facebook

I think I need to learn to use these properly, I managed to make the black shade work for me, but the other colours tend to just look like a mess on my nails :( I think it requires some practice
