New Zealand Fashion Week 2011 is nearly here and M.A.C are hosting the official opening party with their artistry event, ‘MODERN ART’.

The new Viaduct Event Centre, will house the event which is a celebration of art, fashion, and the naked form.

Invited guests will be inspired by the extravaganza which will showcase eight body art designs, influenced by eight illustrious artists: Lichtenstein, Matisse, Mondrian, Haring, Vasarely, Albers, Pollock and Warhol!

The highly inventive and creative abstract images will be painstakingly hand painted for up to six hours onto male and female bodies by the talented team of 28 M.A.C artists led by international and local M.A.C senior artists, and members of the M.A.C Pro Team, Fatima Thomas (NYC), Nicole Thompson (AUST), and our very own, Amber D (pictured).
