In a match made in beauty heaven, ghd has announced that global superstar and beauty icon Katy Perry as their new global ambassador, to coincide with its 10th birthday celebrations – and she is the first ever celebrity to be aligned with the leading professional hair styling brand.

Katy is well known for her fresh, quirky style – and her gorgeous raven locks, so she’s the ideal candidate to represent the brand.

Katy Perry will first appear for ghd in their new campaign ‘Iconic Eras of Style’ photographed by legendary fashion photographer, David LaChapelle. The campaign images will depict Katy Perry in a sleeping beauty style scenario waking up in three different iconic eras of style – 50’s glamour, 70’s boho chic and 80’s new wave.
