It’s about time for the first runway show dedicated entirely to makeup and it’s happening at this year’s NZ Fashion WEEKEND!
Pieter Stewart, the Founder and Managing Director New Zealand Fashion Week Ltd said, “NZ Fashion WEEKEND has become extremely popular in the last couple of years, with eager public wanting to get tips on the latest ideas and products. Phoenix - House Of Makeup will be demonstrating their newest colours and hottest makeup looks, which people seldom get to see in such a forum.”
Phoenix Cosmetics will be modelled by several TV2 Shortland Street beauties including Faye Smythe (aka Nurse Tania Jeffries), Sally Martin (aka Nurse Nicole Miller), Kimberley Crossman (aka Sophie McKay), and Frankie Adams (aka Ula Levi),as well aslocal songstresses Zeisha Fremaux and Hayley Fisher, and the stunning model, fashion blogger and owner of Design Trader, Claire Hahn.
The show is star-studded in more ways than one. “We’re also delighted to be working with Swarovski Crystals to create something really special with body crystals – it’s going to be an amazing showcase of makeup teamed with fashion,” said Renata. “You’ll be treated to an exclusive sneak peak at our brand new colour collection, 5 Shades of Summer,” she said.
The collection hits all the major trends for summer 2011, featuring looks that are light and carefree, playfully romantic, dazzling and sparking, and everything in between.
This is more than just a fashion show, though. “Phoenix-House of Makeup is showcasing the importance and relevance of makeup in a show that focuses solely on makeup artistry at its finest,” said Renata.
