Ovarian cancer is the 4th most common cancer amongst New Zealand women. It is estimated that in New Zealand one woman dies every 48hrs from ovarian cancer. The survival rate after diagnosis is a mere forty per cent. These are some shocking statistics.
To aid in the fight against this silent killer, L’Oréal Paris is donating $5 from every Lash Architect 4D mascara sold during June & July this year to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
The money raised will go directly into ovarian cancer research in New Zealand to help raise awareness of the disease. It will also support Queenstown-based researchers who are working to develop a screening test to enable detection in early stages.
